Presentation of the Pocopson Creek and Browning Barn Tributary Watershed Restoration Plan

Brandywine Red Clay Alliance, along with our contractor, Clauser Environmental, has completed a comprehensive assessment and restoration plan for the Pocopson Creek Watershed and Browning Barn Tributary. The plan targets reductions in sediment, nitrogen and phosphorous pollution and opportunities for increased riparian tree buffers.

Learn about the watershed assessment and highlights from the restoration plan. This plan covers the Browning Barn Tributary and Pocopson Creek and its tributaries in Pocopson, East Marlborough, Newlin and Pennsbury Townships.

  • Simpers Red Streams Blue Tree Planting

    Join BRC staff as we work on the Simpers Red Streams Blue project in East Marlborough Township. Volunteers will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty as they assist with the tree planting stage of this watershed conservation project. Space is limited for this program.
