Nature Play Series

Chandler Mill Nature Preserve

Register now to participate in our Annual Brandywine Clean Up event to keep roads, parks, and streams in Chester County, Pennsylvania clean and beautiful.

  • Litter Clean-up crews will practice safe social distancing by working in small groups, wearing masks, and no large group gatherings.
  • All materials including trash bags, gloves, reflective vests, and a clean-up route map will be pre-bagged for “drive-through” pick up at 8 am.
  • Crews will leave bags of trash along their route to be picked up by our truck crews.
  • All crews must have transportation to drive to assigned sections.

All volunteers are required to register here or by calling 610-793-1090.

Please provide the following when registering:

  • Contact person, cell phone and email address
  • Number of adults and children (under 16 requires adult supervision 5:1 ratio)
  • Preferred location for clean-up.

Red Clay Valley Clean-up

Road side and creek side clean-ups take place beginning at Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square, the Kennett Community Pool and Delaware Nature Society. To sign up or for more information please contact the BRC Office at 610-793-1090.

Join us at our Myrick Conservation Center for a scenic walk through our property. Expert botanist, Janet Ebert will lead you on your journey to search for and identify various plants.
