Chandler Mill Nature Preserve

Register now to participate in our Annual Brandywine Clean Up event to keep roads, parks, and streams in our area clean and beautiful.

  • Volunteers will work in litter clean-up crews in small groups on assigned routes.
  • All materials including trash bags, gloves, reflective vests, t-shirts and a clean-up route map are provided and volunteers will pick-up supplies at 8 a.m. at one of four staging locations.
  • Crews will leave bags of trash along their route to be picked up by our truck crews.
  • Volunteers may need transportation to drive to assigned sections depending on route assignment.
  • Clean-up/staging locations are located in Modena, Downingtown (Kerr Park), Brandywine Valley, DE (Smith Bridge Picnic Area, First State National Park) and Pocopson Township (Myrick Conservation Center, BRC).  Choose you’re preferred location upon registration.

All volunteers are required to register in advance to be assigned a clean up staging area and route in advance.
