The story continues with an outdoor adventure and take home craft. Please remember to dress for the weather. \nMembers $6.50\, Non-Member $13 . (Adult/Caregiver free\, but must register.) \nRegistration required. \nBooks and Boots will be outdoors only.  In case of inclement weather it may be cancelled. \nOn day of program: \n\nA porta toilet and handwashing station is available near the parking lot.\nAll participants will be met in the parking area.

SUMMARY:Red Clay Valley Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will assemble at 8:00 AM at either the Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin\, DE or Anson B. Nixon Park or the Kennett Area YMCA outdoor Pool in Kennett Square to help with clean up of 98 miles of roads and streams in the Red Clay Valley watershed. More than 700 volunteers are needed for this effort\, which is perfect for individuals\, families\, or school/civic groups. No experience necessary and all supplies will be provided. \nGroups over five must pre-register. Advance registration preferred\, but not required for individuals and groups under five. \nWalk ins welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Register now to participate in our Annual Brandywine Clean Up event to keep roads\, parks\, and streams in our area clean and beautiful. \n\nVolunteers will work in litter clean-up crews in small groups on assigned routes.\nAll materials including trash bags\, gloves\, reflective vests\, t-shirts and a clean-up route map are provided and volunteers will pick-up supplies at 8 a.m. at one of four staging locations.\nCrews will leave bags of trash along their route to be picked up by our truck crews.\nVolunteers may need transportation to drive to assigned sections depending on route assignment.\nClean-up/staging locations are located in Modena\, Downingtown (Kerr Park)\, Brandywine Valley\, DE (Smith Bridge Picnic Area\, First State National Park) and Pocopson Township (Myrick Conservation Center\, BRC).  Choose you’re preferred location upon registration.\n\n\n\n\nRegister here. \nAll volunteers are required to register in advance to be assigned a clean up staging area and route in advance.\n(Only one registration per group.) \nQuestions?
